Power Automate has a point-and-click user interface that makes the process of creating flows straightforward. It is built on top of Azure Logic Apps, an enterprise application integration service, and so is scalable and robust.
This chapter will explain how to use Power Automate, a key component of the Power Platform for automating steps within Dynamics 365 and Common Data Service, and for automating, integrating, and orchestrating across cloud systems including Office 365, Azure, and third-party services.
We will begin with an introduction to Power Automate flows; then we will move on to where and how to create them by adding connections, triggers, and actions all controlled by logic. We will look at using connectors, in particular at the Common Data Service connector with flows. We will finish by learning how to monitor flows.
