Summary
In this chapter, we reviewed the key considerations for a functional design, including global features that you need to know in order to develop a good solution design. In addition to that, we walked through the evaluation, selection criteria, and engagement of ISVs on the project. We concluded with the technical aspects of the design, primarily around the generation of Technical design documents. In the next chapter we will learn another key aspect of design process, that is configuration management.
