Some sample mobile projects

In this section, we will take a look at a set of sample mobile testing projects and the solutions that resulted in customer delight.

Project 1 – an insurance provider's web application

The AUT is an insurance provider's self-service web application developed in HTML5, using which, the consumers of the insurance company can register their insurance policies and then get related details of the insurance, such as asset allocation details, viewing a renewal premium payment calendar, and the claim process. The customers are also allowed to view premium receipts of previous payments made. The company has decided to only support Android 4.1 or higher and iOS 7 or higher version mobile phones, considering their target consumer base. For tablet devices, the customers will be presented with the normal web application and not mobile-specific web views.
