Chapter 5. Time Tracking and Scheduling Components

The PrimeFaces core library provided the calendar and scheduling components to support date and time tracking, scheduling, and manipulating the events and internationalization as some of its main features. To cover many other specific use cases in the modern user interface development, the PrimeFaces Extensions team introduced TimePicker for selecting the time with various types of controls and the TimeLine component as an interactive visualization chart for scheduling new events and manipulating existing events in the long run.

To represent the time in a convenient way with all the possible controls, the Extensions library provided a separate time component to the applications where the time allocation is valuable.
