Summary
This chapter covered the third part of the Implement and Monitor Azure Infrastructure objective by covering how to provision and configure VMs for Windows and Linux. You learned about the various aspects and components that are created when you deploy a VM in Azure. We also covered how to automate the deployment of VMs using scale sets and ARM templates, and how this can be done using PowerShell or through automated pipelines using DevOps. We also covered how to configure Azure Disk Encryption for VMs and use Azure Dedicated Hosts to enhance the security and compliance standards of your infrastructure.
