Exploring observability tools

Now that we are approaching the end of this book, we believe it would be beneficial to cover some tools and technology references for the different types of monitoring we discussed. From industry experience and exposure, we have curated a list of tools (in no particular order) for infrastructure, application, and business service monitoring, and for managing alerts and incidents. We don’t profess to be experts in these tools, so please take these comments as our opinions. We strongly advise you to analyze these tools yourself, based on your requirements and desirable features that we have discussed earlier in the chapter. Also, please keep in mind that you may need more than one tool to meet your requirement; however, please do limit your choices as much as possible for cost optimization and reducing operational overhead.
