I’ve seen salaries as low as $67,500 for junior penetation testers and as high as $270,000 for specialized public sector work. For a junior-level pentester, you can usually expect between $67,000 and $100,000, depending on the factors I mentioned before. I do want to mention that there are far more jobs available on the defensive side than on the offensive.
