The aim of the preceding chapters was to provide teachers with the skills and knowledge to understand basic Gamification techniques, reduce administrative workload to free up time to be more creative, quickly identify learner progress, and provide personalized learning paths.

You now have the basic skills to use Gamification design techniques in Moodle courses that can take learners on a journey of risk, choice, surprise, delight, and transformation. Many teachers are already doing this, and in my opinion, this is Gamification. You take an activity and reframe it to be more appealing and achievable. This sounds like the job description of any teacher! Understanding games and play better can help teachers to be more effective in building learner motivation through the use of game elements.
