We saw – especially in the Ethereum section of this chapter – a number of missteps: wrong modes, file formats with too much information, and more. So, what can we learn from this series of mistakes?
- Sometimes, tool output can be deceiving
- We may need to slightly alter or tweak tool output to achieve our desired results
- We should look beyond error messages and see how they can help us resolve the problem!
In all the errors we had in this chapter, the information to solve them was right in front of us, we just needed to engage in a little ‘trial and error’ to achieve the right results. Our tools and conversion utilities are great assets to our work, but we can’t just blindly accept their output. We need to look at it and figure out what makes sense in our situation.
