  • Being a workaholic is usually a sign of poor time management, not of exemplary work habits.

The study, published in the Journal of the American Heart Association, did not find sitting too long at a computer or driving for too long was linked to premature death. So there may be something about the sedentary act of sitting in front of the TV, and possibly the snacking and eating that might occur, that might be a factor. The bottom line is that an increase in being active and a decrease in being sedentary during non-work time is a positive goal, especially for those who sit in front of computers for much of the day.
