Deploying modules with libraries by reference
By default, when you export a module for deployment from WID, modules bring along a copy of the library. If the library is used as a dependency in different modules, each of these modules will contain a copy of the library. In the Library Dependency editor, if you look at the Sharing across Runtime Environments section, you have two radio buttons to choose from:
Global (by reference)
Module (by copy)
If you want the library to be deployed as a shared/global library, select the first radio button. You need to do this for each library in the workspace. When you export the module, the libraries will be exported as individual JAR
files and the module as EAR,
of course. Please note if you choose the first option, you need to set up the shared libraries. Refer to this link:
