Summary
In this chapter, we discovered that the information in our model (the I in BIM) can also easily be visualized in tables, using Schedules. This helps us to improve the overall quality of the model and prepare models for data extraction. Using these techniques enables us to use our model to prepare a BOQ or other similar lists. We also learned how to communicate in a visual way about these parameters and properties. All the views combined make up our model and its representation. If we want to communicate this information set to other stakeholders, we need to take a look into Layout Book, the publishing process, and the attributes involved in our next chapter!
