Call Transcription
During a real-time Zoom Phone call, you can also have live Call Transcription. When enabled, the phone call audio is converted into a text caption for a better understanding of what is being said. For example, in a loud environment, it may be difficult to hear the call participants audio over your headset or laptop’s speakers. The audio from all participants is captioned with their names and a timestamp, but they are only visible to you. During the call, you can scroll back to view captions rendered earlier in the conversation. Each time a transcription is turned on or off during the call, the participants on the call will hear or see a notice that this setting has been enabled or disabled.
How to do it…
- From the Zoom client, click on your picture profile or initials, choose Settings, and then navigate to Phone.
- Scroll down until you see Live transcript settings, and tick the checkbox.
