CISO questions that you may be asked
The CISO interview can be a bit more technical than the CIO interview. However, there are number of questions from the CIO interview that could be repeated – remember that it is likely that the CIO is a key interviewer and decision maker.
Many CIOs will admit in the interview that they are not cybersecurity specialists, but I would not be lured into any false hope that the questions will be easier. The CIO has more to lose if they select the wrong CISO, therefore you should expect a probing and quizzing experience.
Also, in preparation for your actual interview, I would suggest that you write some of your own notes for each of these example questions. Note that these suggested answers are to provide some examples: you should consider how you want to address the question in a way that demonstrates your own position. The actual words you use that reflect your brand are just as important as how you deliver them to the panel.
