Area Chart
Area charts are very similar to line charts, except that the space between the line and the base of the axis is shaded in color, as shown in Figure 5.1. This is used to display changes over time and allows the stacking of multiple lines to show the breakdown of the value.

Here are the steps you need to follow to build an area chart:
- Start by choosing dimensions and measures. For the chart shown in Figure 5.1, Superstore Data, Sales, Order Date, and Category were used.
- Drag the dimension(s) that represents the categories or time intervals...
