Summary

In this chapter, we created client-side code, including client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions. We also learned about the different types of client scripts available and how to make use of the different properties of the client scripts. We also learned how to create global UI actions that can be invoked from any client-side code, including the client script.

Furthermore, we learned about UI policies and how they can be used to show or hide fields and modify the editable properties, such as mandatory and read-only, without writing any code. In the next chapter, we will learn how to make user of the server-side scripting features, such as business rules, and server-side Glide APIs, such as GlideRecord.
