Chapter 11: An Introduction to Technology Connectors

We created a project called MyFirstProject in the previous chapter. In this chapter, we will start learning about what SAP Intelligent RPA offers when it comes to capturing and declaring different types of applications that need to be automated. Any application that is used in a business process will be the target application while developing the automation solution. The automation target applications could contain many technologies, such as web applications that can be accessed using browsers or Windows applications. Similarly, many technologies can be used to develop Windows applications that will run as executables.

SAP Intelligent RPA provides a set of technology connectors to automate the automation target applications. We will discuss capturing and declaring applications and entities in the following chapters but first, we need to understand the technology connectors and how to use them for different types of applications...
