Summary
In this chapter, we learned about Salesforce’s new OmniStudio Digital Interaction Platform, the engine behind Salesforce Industries. We saw how the ready-to-go industry solutions could be downloaded from the Process Library and internalized the three-tiered architecture of the OmniStudio platform. We have seen how all these components fit together.
Furthermore, we learned how existing Salesforce low-code components such as Flows play along with the new OmniStudio tools so that we can build more future-proof applications.
Our knowledge of the building blocks and moving parts of the Industries Platform will make it easier to diagnose problems and improve the performance of our OmniStudio apps. We can now narrow down issues to a specific layer, building block, and component and then follow the best practices and techniques that other developers found effective for improving performance in that part of the system.
