Classic Workflows

All organizations have business processes that the organization uses to meet customer needs and to deliver products and services. Classic workflows and actions consist of a set of activity steps that are performed to achieve the desired outcome. Classic workflows are a capability of the Common Data Service (CDS) that help users perform repeatable tasks, keep other users and customers informed of progress, and reduce the need for users to check work. 

This chapter will explain how to create classic workflow processes to automate data changes and communications within the CDS. We will begin with an introduction to processes and their capabilities, and then where and how to create them by adding triggers, conditions, and action steps.
