Maximizing project opportunities
Every opportunity the organization has is a monetary goldmine. Therefore, more than in other industries, collaboration and execution are key to the successful closing of a sale. This means that we need to have a proper plan to close opportunities while also having all of the contractual and other information completed.
Therefore, we will use the business process flow that is built into Project Operations and is also something we customized in Chapter 3, The How-Tos of Setting Up Project Operations, to the needs of a professional services firm.
If you recall from the previous section, we qualified a lead that was developed by the marketing team. The result was the creation of a client (account) Contact and Opportunity record in the system. Now let's look at how we can track this through the system.
