Developing a SQL Database with Visual Studio
While developing a database as the data tier for our applications, there are many tools to help us in creating tables, views, stored procedures, starting from a design phase and more or less adhering to the ER conceptual modeling.
Developers often delegate DBAs to build a powerful database that meets their application's needs, and in most cases, the DB Team is somehow disconnected from the Dev Team. From a process-management perspective, as the requirements are part of the same software artifact, a unified toolset is desirable. Why not use the same IDE to develop the application as well? Why not use Visual Studio?
