Creating user-defined functions

The benefit of using SQLite over other small databases is its flexibility to engage with the extension API side by creating your own user-defined function. If you are familiar with creating your own function in a language such as Java or C, for example, then extending the natural SQLite database will not be difficult. The following code outlines how this can be done using the C API:
