Introduction
When we're designing our application, it's extremely easy to fall into a bubble and forget that people other than our development team will use the application. It's an interesting situation, as we're mindfully creating a product for other people to use on their iPhone or iPad, but it's extremely easy to get caught up and forget that our work must be easily understandable by any user.

The most overlooked conflict arises when designers don't attempt to make their application fit into operating system wide standards such as copy and paste, undo and redo, and accessibility features such as voiceover. Often designers feel as if their app doesn't need such features, or that their app is too exceptional to require the need of accessibility features or copy and paste.
Such an arrogant designer may make such decisions because they can't look past their own experience with the app and realize that such features are implemented into the operating system to help all users feel at home...
