Scenario prioritization
After identifying scenarios, the next exercise is to prioritize scenarios. Scenario prioritized scenarios will be taken up for the next phase of the development. A team can either do the prioritization exercise in the same meeting or in another follow-up meeting. So, let's go through this prioritization exercise. During the prioritization exercise, the team discusses these scenarios from the perspective of immediate need and dependencies. After reviewing both identified scenarios of Features and Collaboration, they list down the following two factors to be considered in the prioritization exercise:
- Immediate need: Device handling to start immediately, as devices are already being procured
- Dependency: Collaboration can start only after employees are trained about the handling of the device
So, looking at immediate need and dependency, the team decided to prioritize the Featuresscenario over the Collaboration scenario.
