Summary
We have finished our first chapter about data connections. We looked at how to connect to different sorts of datasets and use some features, such as join, union, and some data transformations. Later in the book, you'll learn other useful and powerful data transformation features.
Now that you are connected to the data, you have a data source. You can directly use it to create visualizations, but I advise you to spend some time customizing and preparing your data source. There are many ways to enhance it and create something shareable, easy to understand, and compelling for your analysis.
In the next chapter, we'll learn how to build an efficient data source.
