Cluster policies
The Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization cluster resilience policy allows you to define the migration policy for virtual machines in the event of host failure. There might be a possibility of a physical host failure in such conditions. The migration of the running virtual machine decision to be automatic or manual purely depends upon the cluster resilience policy defined by the admin.
There are situations where a physical host runs more than a dozen virtual machines. Since the virtual machine migration is a network-intensive operation, it's highly recommended that you choose the best policy that suits your environment. Under this kind of scenario, the best approach is to choose Migrate only highly-available virtual machine as the policy to avoid unnecessary network saturation by moving dozens of virtual machines.
