Summary

Tuxedo provides many ways to connect with other SOA platforms and environments. As one of the original SOA platforms, SALT was introduced to make the Tuxedo platform more adaptable and extendable to the SOA world. By providing support for the SCA, SALT allows customers to quickly develop and compose SOA-based applications running on the most robust infrastructure in the industry. We have discussed how to configure and administrate various SALT components in this chapter. One important characteristic of SCA is the outlining of a new software design model, which has been picked up by IT community very well today. However, it is a huge topic and I do not intend to cover it in this book.
