Chapter 3. Creating the Script
In the previous chapter, the topic of project planning was discussed. Examples of how to create your own project plan for your e-learning video were shown. In this chapter, you will learn the basics of script writing. Many e-learning videos have a running commentary to accompany the visuals shown to the learner, which is a recommended approach. The combination of visual and auditory communication is an important reinforcement that helps the learner absorb the concepts being taught. After all, do you think a silent lecture, with just pictures, would be as effective as one in which the lecturer was vocal and pointing out the importance of what was being shown?
