SASE Quality
Quality in SASE is normally associated with the SD-WAN solution that’s leveraged through the SASE Service. Network communications services generally associate quality with performance. In previous Quality of Service (QOS) models, a method of measurement for key attributes was employed and a configuration leveraged those measurements to enforce service-level standards. With SD-WAN quality mechanisms, many sophisticated tools may be used to measure quality. Then, the appropriate policy enforces Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure the service enforces quality control.
Performance measurements may include jitter, loss, latency, delay, errors, and Mean Opinion Score (MOS). Going forward, SD-WAN solutions may include User Experience (UX) as part of their performance measurements. Many SD-WAN solutions have the raw ability to express UX through analytical data. In the future, quality throughout the SASE Lifecycle Session may also include active security engagement...
