If you want one VLAN to talk to another VLAN, you would implement inter-VLAN communication, so you can control communications between VLANs. There are other commands that we will be learning in the advanced switch technology chapter that will teach us how to control the device that is plugged in to your switch.
If you do have the need for inter-VLAN communication, you can simply create access control lists (ACLs), which are policies on the server, firewall, or router, and control the type of traffic and the network you allow.
