Introduction to Data Security

Azure has an extensive range of data services, as we have seen throughout previous chapters, which can bring immense value to organizations of all sizes. However, the security of these services must be taken seriously as they are vulnerable to various threats, including hacking, data breaches, and cyber-attacks. Implementing robust security measures and regular monitoring can help prevent unauthorized access and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data. A business can easily justify the security investment, knowing it is protected from financial losses, reputation damage, and compliance violations, while also building trust with the end customers and other stakeholders.
