Creating frames using the Frame Generator environment
Frame Generator allows for the creation of internal frame and external frame assemblies for machines from the Assembly and Weldment environments. There are multiple ways in which a frame can be created from Frame Generator; in this example, we will define a structural skeletal model as the basis of the frame and then proceed to add members. Additional 2D and 3D sketches can be used to create additional members, as required.
Frame Generator uses existing frame members from the Content Center. Once selected, you can then define the size, material, and appearance parameters. Frame members can then be generated onto existing sketch lines or edges.
Once placed, there are various end treatment functions such as miters, cuts, and joints that can be applied.
