RSAT
Microsoft has a long history of producing tools to enable you to manage Windows components, particularly those that run on Windows Server (such as DNS, the Internet Information Services (IIS) web server, Windows clustering, and many more).
With each Windows Server feature, Microsoft has developed GUI and PowerShell modules that help you manage the feature. The primary goal of these tools is to enable you to manage your Windows Server and Active Directory infrastructure from the Windows client, Windows 11. Most of these are mature tools that Microsoft has not enhanced for several years.
Installing the RSAT tools
In early versions of Windows 10, the RSAT tools were a separate download from Microsoft. With the October 2018 Windows 10 update, the RSAT tools became Features on Demand (FODs) that you can install directly into Windows. This process does require internet access to download the appropriate tools.
