VMware Virtual SAN
The new release of Horizon 6 View fully supports VMware virtual SAN (VSAN) storage policies. VMware VSAN is a storage feature integrated in the vSphere 5.5 kernel that pools internal disk drives across multiple ESXi hosts. You will need a minimum of 3, as shown in the following screenshot:
The distributed architecture of this software-defined storage feature enables the parameters of the storage policy to be enforced despite any changes in workload demands of the virtual machine, along with hardware or network failures. Administrators will define storage requirements, such as performance and availability, for the virtual machines running on a VSAN cluster. Administration of a cluster and implementation of storage policies is issued using the vSphere 5.5 Web Client.
