A Missing Value

Now consider a different variation of the same spreadsheet - a spreadsheet with one of the values missing. Figure 3.6 shows the same spreadsheet but with the value in row 2/line 3 omitted.

The result is that row 2/line 3 reads “eold linefeed row id(2) xlstab value xlstab xlstab value”. The interpretation of that line is that there is a value for column 1 and for column 3, but not for column 2.
