- Node Manager: A service that runs on a server machine that can host instances of Web Player or Automation Services
- Instance: An individual instance of a service of Web Player or Automation Services
- Schedule: A schedule for keeping an analysis preloaded and in the memory of a Web Player instance, and (optionally) keeping the data within the analysis up to date
- Rule: A routing rule that routes a user to a Web Player resource pool
- Resource pool: A group of one or more Web Player instances that can have users routed to them by way of rules
