Building a custom emote bar
A great way to encourage socialization and organic interactions within your experience is by including an emote bar. Roblox provides us with a built-in dev module, which we will be exploring in this recipe. By the end of this recipe, you will have a fully functioning emote bar filled with your desired emotes.
How to do it…
We will start by inserting the Emote Bar model, which can be found here: roblox.com/library/14971586392. Next, we will place it into the ServerScriptService object and then open the ConfigureEmotes script. Here, we will copy and paste a chunk of code multiple times, and then go through and number each chunk sequentially. Next, we will navigate to the catalog where we will find and copy emote IDs that we will paste inside of the AnimationIDGrabber script and run to get the AnimationID value.
