Summary

Desktop Studio, Desktop Agent, and the browser extension are the three core components of SAP Intelligent RPA's on-premise setup. In this chapter, we began the installation process and reached nearly midway. We will conclude and verify the installation process in the following chapter. After that, you will have access to a complete SAP Intelligent RPA setup to start creating automations on-premise or in the cloud.

We touched upon nearly all the pieces of the SAP Intelligent RPA on-premise setup and have gained a deeper understanding of the components, such as Remote Tools for Visual Studio and the source code comparison tool KDiff3. While we have completed the initial installation, we will complete the process in the next chapter by registering the Desktop Agent with a tenant, configuring web browsers, and finally, verifying that the installation is complete.
