Day 26 – conducting performance reviews
On day 20, you scheduled performance reviews to start today. On day 23, you assigned each member an exercise ("What do you want out of life?"). Go back and review day 20 and day 23 on this subject if need be.
During the performance review, the following sections will give you a step-by-step process that you can follow.
Preparation
Review the strengths/weaknesses/areas of improvement as gathered on day 18.
Review any issues/concerns to be discussed.

Warm up
Meet and greet. Mirror and match body language, tonality and words.
Small talk—make them comfortable so they open up. Show interest and keep them talking.
Set ground rules
Indicate the time frame and ask what they would like to have accomplished in that time frame.
Then share your objective—to get to know them better, their personal dreams and desires, and how "we" can better work together helping each other going forward.
