Configuring Technical Features
Moodle supports a wide range of tools and features that require administrative attention – some only once, others regularly. Due to the volume of configuration areas, we have divided this topic into educational and technical configurations, each represented by a dedicated chapter:

This chapter deals with configuring technical settings.
First, we will configure synchronous and asynchronous communication tools while covering chats, video conferencing (BigBlueButton), messaging (messages and notifications), and RSS feeds.
Next, we will learn how to configure localization features while dealing with different locales represented as language packs, multi-languages, calendars, and time zones.
We will then configure internal and external repositories, enabling users to add files to courses and other locations via the file picker.
