Protecting System Center Virtual Machine Manager

Getting ready

With System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 R2, you are able to provide restore capabilities using the Generic Data Source Protection. This feature was introduced in the 2012 release of System Center Data Protection Manager and is an important standing point component for the development of the DPM software application in many cases. System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 R2 provides a restore function that is targeted to the Original location and the Copy As File option for the SCVMM host.
