Summary
In this chapter, we learned that Lofted Bends are a good way to create curves between two dissimilar profiles. Lofted Bends are made from two open profiles that cannot have sharp edges.
There are two types of Lofted Bend: Formed, which produces a smoother feature that is harder to manufacture, and Bent, which is easier to physically make, but only gives an approximation of the curved shape.
In the next chapter, we will learn about one of the last major tools, the Tab and Slot tool, which allows us to add details to facilitate the joining together of two Sheet Metal bodies.
