Keyboard shortcuts
Here's a list of some of the best (or most appropriate) keyboard shortcuts for this chapter:
- Create a new document: File>New>Blank Document.
- Zoom in: Ctrl/Cmd + "+".
- Zoom out: Ctrl/Cmd + "-".
- Fit image to page: Ctrl/Cmd + 0 (zero).
- Grid (repeat the same to remove it): (Ctrl/Cmd + ').
- Show and hide the Guides: (Ctrl/Cmd + ;).
- Use this keyboard shortcut to temporarily hide the selection line of marching ants. Repeat to show it: Ctrl/Cmd + H.
- Puts any object on a layer into Transform (resize) mode: Ctrl/Cmd + T.
- Hold the Shift key down while drawing with the Elliptical tools, Rectangular tools, or any of the Custom Shapes to lock the proportions.
