With the experience of understanding layers now safely in your repertoire of skills, it's 
time to look a little closer at developing your retouching skills. Elements 2020 has a range 
of very high-end tools with which you can perfect your work—whether it's portraiture, still life, travel, blogging, weddings, or landscapes.

One of the big issues with regular tone editing tools, such as Levels and Hue/Saturation, 
is that their effects are global—everything in the image is affected proportionally. To limit the spread of these effects to a specific part of the frame, we'll look at making selections, 
using a wide range of tools that come with Elements that are designed for all types of selection scenarios.
