Managing users within a team
Users can be added to a team as either an owner or a member. This can be changed at any time, promoting or demoting owners as needed.
Owners of teams have elevated privileges, including the following:
- Create and delete a team
- Modify a team name and description
- Create and delete private channels
- Add members to a team or private channels (if you're also a member)
Team owners can also modify the settings of a team that change member experiences. For example, a team owner can choose to disable the following abilities for members:
- Create and delete channels
- Modify channel names and descriptions
- Create private channels
- Add apps
- Create/update/delete tabs
Members can add other members to public teams themselves and can request members be added to private teams. Members can also elect to leave a team themselves at any time as long as the team's membership is not populated by a dynamic security...
