Adding sound

An additional way to enhance the movie we are creating is by using an essential element called sound. Lumion give us the freedom to add sound and create a nice environment, as well as import an audio file to use in our movie. There are different features available, and this recipe is going to help you understand the differences between the features and how to make the best of these features.

Getting ready

For the first half of the recipe, we are going to need a clip in the Movie mode, and for second half, we just need a simple scene.

How to do it…

Let's start by adding the Sound effect; this can be done by performing the following steps:

1. Open the Movie mode and click on the Entire Movie button because the Sound effect only works in this mode, and you cannot apply it to individual clips.
2. Click on the New effect button to open the Movie effect library.
