Creating Lightning pages

To create a new page from scratch, we can click the + New Page link on the Pages menu of the Lightning App Builder header or click the New button on the Lightning App Builder's Setup page.

The Lightning page creation wizard starts by asking which kind of page you want to create:

What kind of page do we need?

App Page: This kind of page is supported on both the Lightning Experience desktop site and the Salesforce mobile app. App pages are usually used to create custom home page apps that can be accessed anywhere and offer quick access to the most important features, objects, and actions, Indeed, you can add global actions to the page.
Home Page: This kind of page is supported on the Lightning Experience desktop site only (so not on mobile) and is used as a home page on Salesforce desktop apps. They don't support global action selection (you'll see all global...
