Modifying Power Virtual Agents
Once you have your chatbots deployed, your journey is just starting. You need to monitor for performance and continue to make incremental updates to better serve your customers.
When working with chatbots, just like any other custom solutions, you should be following a strict Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) process, as defined by your organization. In the case of Power Virtual Agents, one important component of this ALM process is the use of solutions. At a minimum, you will build your chatbots in a development environment, you will deploy to a test environment, and when approved, you will deploy to a production environment. You achieve this by packaging your customization in a solution. The solution is a container holding your configurations. It can include one or more chatbots, along with Power Automate flows and other components as needed. At a minimum, you will have at least one chatbot in a solution.
