Chapter 2: Components of Work
This book is for everyone who uses Office. There is so much variety in what we do – different subject areas, industries, roles, and levels of experience. So how can one book cover all these variations?
The answer is simple. Your work consists of two types: structured and unstructured. The structured part of your work requires knowledge of your subject and industry and the unstructured part of your work is common across the board. We can divide unstructured work into universal activities and needs such as creating files, storing data, teamwork, execution of tasks, and data analysis.
