Keeping pace with change

On top of an individual's day-to-day role, it can be difficult keeping up with the technology changes in their field, as well as all the work they are doing in the current sprint, thinking about future work coming up as well. It's hard, so adding on top of that the process changes you are making makes it very difficult.

You need to be able to manage the pace of change within your organization when it comes to process changes. Of course, process changes are very important – they are how you improve as an organization, but they can be the thing people forget the quickest.

Process changes usually fail because the change fails to stick in the organization. With lots of competing priorities in most organizations and lots of information to keep on top of, many people sadly forget process information first.
